<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> DRAFT #1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> DECLARING CERTAIN USED PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> TO DONATE SAID SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE RED RIVER REGION <br /> INCUBATOR PROJECT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS <br /> RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has become aware of certain used personal property <br /> consisting of old desks, chairs and metal filing cabinets, more particularly described on the <br /> list attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and is desirous of donating this surplus property no <br /> longer needed by the City to the Red River Region Incubator Project; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS it would be appropriate to declare said personal property to be surplus <br /> property and donate same to the Red River Region Incubator Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS, TEXAS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in <br /> all things approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the personal property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be, <br /> and the same is hereby, declared to be surplus property of the City of Paris, and the same is <br /> hereby donated to the Red River Region Incubator Project in accordance with the laws of <br /> the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
