RESOLUTION NO. 2011-038 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN USED PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF PARIS AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DONATE SAID SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE RED RIVER REGION INCUBATOR PROJECT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Manager has become aware of certain used personal property consisting of old desks, chairs and metal filing cabinets, more particularly described on the list attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and is desirous of donating this surplus property no longer needed by the City to the Red River Region Incubator Project; and, WHEREAS it would be appropriate to declare said personal property to be surplus property and donate same to the Red River Region Incubator Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the personal property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be, and the same is hereby, declared to be surplus property of the City of Paris, and the same is hereby donated to the Red River Region Incubator Project in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 25th day of April, 2011. .
