AUTOMOBILE BURGLARY $ THEFT PREVENTION AUTHORITY <br />PROGRAM NARRATIVE <br />4. Proposed Evaluation Design (See Instructions on page 18) <br />The Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force Senior Detective will meet monthly <br />with the Chief of Police, Sheriffs, And Prosecutors in the coverage area in <br />an effort to provide ongoing evaluation of the program. The statistical data <br />used for the evaluation is as follows: <br />1.Number of auto theft cases <br />2.Number of auto theft related cases <br />3.number of auto theft cases presented to and accepted by the <br />prosecutors of each county <br />4.Number of seizure cases <br />5.Number of vehicles, parts, or other property that is recovered <br />6.Number of salvage yards, car dealers, and repair shops inspected <br />7.Number of vehicles inspected <br />8.Number of training classes presented to officers <br />9. Nu:aber of agencies assisted <br />lO.Number of public awareness programs <br />The Task Force members meet weekly with the Criminal Investigation Divisions <br />of agencies in our coverage area. The targeted areas for investigations are <br />determined at these meetings. <br />ABTPA•33 <br />
