Fungal-Biological Hazard Remediation Protocol Irerracon
Grand Theater ■ 21 Lamar Street, Paris, Texas
April 11, 2011 ■ Terracon Project No. 94117645

V. Representative air samples shall be collected from within the containment, the outdoor
environment, and analyzed by standard optical light microscopy methodology. Total
bioaerosol analysis must be conducted by a licensed Mold Analysis Laboratory. Any
area whose air test does not meet post remediation criteria will be re-tested following
cleaning and air scrubbing of those areas. Total bioaerosol analysis will be used to
assess the second floor containment.

vi. Total bioaerosol analytical clearance criteria will be based on qualitative and quantitative
similarity between indoor samples and ambient outdoor control samples collected
contemporaneously. Air samples will be collected and analyzed in a manner that
provides a minimum detection limit of 43 spore/m3. Qualitatively consistent/dissimilar
fungal aerosols within the containment, relative to the outdoor environment, should not
exceed 650 spore/m3.

13.0 WASTE DISPOSAL

Waste materials will be double bagged or wrapped in six (6) millimeter polyethylene
unlabeled disposal bags. Disposal bags will be HEPA vacuumed prior to removal from the
work areas. Debris will be disposed as construction waste and placed in an enclosed,
secured dumpster provided by the contractor unless otherwise noted.

14.0 POST PROJECT SUBMITTALS

Post project submittals and invoices shall be submitted to City of Paris, in accordance with
Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) regulations contained in "The Texas
Mold Assessment and Remediation Rules" (25 TAC §295.301-295.338).

15.0 MITIGATION OF MOISTURE

The building owner is responsible for the mitigation of moisture intrusion and the required
remedial actions should be provided to the MAC.

Roof repairs must be verified to ensure that moisture intrusion due to roof leaks has been
mitigated.

NIAC 0107/ 11-10-12

154
