<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> PUBLISH PARIS NEWS <br /> DATE: April 4, 2011 <br /> DATE: April 10, 2011 <br /> <br /> <br /> PUBLIC BID ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Sealed Bids will be <br /> accepted from contractors who are qualified and appropriately licensed by the Texas <br /> Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) for Hazardous Materials Abatement consisting of <br /> asbestos, mold and lead in the Historic Grand Theatre. Contractors with demonstrated <br /> experience performing hazardous materials abatement in historical structures will be <br /> considered. The bids will be received by the City of Paris, until 2:00 PM on April 21, 2011, at <br /> which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers at Paris <br /> City Hall, 107 E. Kaufman Street, Paris, Texas 75460. <br /> A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on April 13, 2011, in the City Council Chambers <br /> at Paris City Hall, 107 E. Kaufman Street, Paris, Texas 75460, followed by a walkthrough of the <br /> project site. Interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. In order to enter the building <br /> prospective bidders must bring appropriate personal protective equipment consisting of at <br /> minimum half-face respirators, a disposable suit, current copies of respiratory fits tests, and <br /> medical surveillance documents. Specifications and other documents constituting the Bidding <br /> Documents are available on April 13, 2011 at the pre-bid walkthrough. The specifications are <br /> available upon a non-refundable payment to the consultant of $25.00 per set.
