If <br /> that number is more than 10%, the City of Paris is legally obligated to make <br /> changes in its political boundaries to re-balance the population to more equal <br /> terms. <br /> 5. If the Total Maximum Deviation exceeds approximately 7%, you may want <br /> to consider redistricting in order to re-balance your boundaries, although you <br /> are not legally required to do so at this time. However, with only a few <br /> percentage points separating the City of Paris from the 10% maximum <br /> standard, you would be prudent to consider redistricting at this time. A suit <br /> can be filed at any time the statistical evidence suggests a City's political <br /> boundaries are no longer constitutionally balanced. <br /> <br /> 6.
