VISITORS & CONVENTION COUNCIL <br />(MAYOR, CITY IYIANAGER AND ONE COUNCIL MEMBER; THREE YEAR TERM; CITY <br />COUNCIL APPOINTS) <br />To carry out the Chamber's contractual obligations with the City to administer the hotel/motel taxes. <br />ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br />Appointed for one (1) ,year, or until disqualified to serve and successor is appointed; Mayor <br />recommends & Council appoints according to ATCOG By-Laws; City Council can recommend to the <br />Board of Directors of Ark-Tex a person for appointment to the Executive Committee. <br />Adopts an annual budget, fixes the dues for member governmental units, and reviews, approves, and adopts all <br />policy documents. The Executive Committee is responsible for the implementation of policies established by <br />the Board.
