MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TUESDAY, JULY 5, 2011 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, <br />was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />James Price <br />Holland Harper <br />Keith Barnett <br />Jerry Akers <br />Dennis Chalaire <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Richard Hunt <br />Keith Flowers <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development. <br />Motion was made by Holland Harper, seconded by Keith Barnett to nominate <br />Dennis Chalaire as acting Chairman. Motion carried 4-0. <br />2. Approval of minutes fi-om previous meetings. (June 6, 2011; June 9, 2011) <br />Motion was made and seconded to approve the meeting minutes for June 6, 2011 and June <br />9, 2011. Motion carried 5-0. <br />3. Public hearing to provide an opportuniry to present commeizts and written evidence and <br />consideration of and action on recommending to the City Council the adoption ofproposed <br />amendments to the Future Land Use Plan Map as follows: <br />A. That the future land u.se r-ecommended for the property located on Lots 13 and 14, <br />Block 8, Gibbons Park Addition, being located at 834 East Oak- Street be changed <br />, from Low Density Residential to Commercial. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />_ - 1{'j <br />
