Animals Euthanized <br />3,009 <br />2,926 <br />Summary <br />2010 was a busy year for the department as evidenced by the statistics of work performed. <br />The interesting concept of law enforcement statistics is the inabiliry to know what we were <br />able to prevent. It will never be known what person was deterred from committing a crime <br />by the sight of a patrol car moving through a neighborhood, the reports of arrests being <br />made for drug use and sales or the steadfast continuing investigation of reported crimes. <br />8 <br />127 <br />
