Grand theater asbestos abatement wil] have to be rebid due to the fact that the contract person <br />hired sent fax that he would be giving up contract. Bids begin on July 25. <br />Peristyle- behind schedule. <br />Committee Reports: <br />Organization report:- No Committee Report <br />Design: Dustin Lindsey: Reported that they met after several months of being off and began to <br />review their work plans. One goal was discussion of window treatment in vacant store fronts, <br />and will something they will be pursuing. <br />Promotion: Kari: Movies in the Park going well, raised PDA has raised $1200 in concessions. <br />There are three more movies to show. One was a make-up from a rain out. People's choice is <br />George of the Jungle or Wizard of Oz. <br />Promotions committee is becoming more involved with the Pumpkin festival, and has new ideas. <br />Pumpkin carving contest, new kids area, chili cook off, and possible placement of Matt's beer <br />garden or the Vault. <br />Wii Tournament planned for September l Oth, held at Modern Auto body- Cost is $20 per <br />team/individual? Play station II already donated for prize by InParisTexas.com. Kari has <br />purchased trophy. <br />Economic Restructure: Britin: CAD f le of downtown parcels, worked with Justin Oliver from <br />Engineering, Mapped out of use of downtown, Revamping work plan Next meeting on July 21, <br />that guys coffee. <br />HPC= No report <br />PDA-Kari Daniel.
