4. Therefore, carefully examine the Total Maximum Deviation calculation. If <br />that number is more than ] 0%, the City of Paris is legally obligated to make <br />changes in its political boundaries to re-balance the population to more equal <br />terms. <br />If the Total Maximum Deviation exceeds approxiinately 7%, you may want <br />to consider redistricting in order to re-balance your boundaries, although you <br />are not legally required to do so at this time. However, with only a few <br />percentage points separating the City of Paris from the 10% maximum <br />standard, you would be prudent to consider redistricting at this time. A suit <br />can be filed at any time the statistical evidence suggests a City's political <br />boundaries are no longer constitutionally balanced. <br />6.
