ORDINANCE NO. 99-026 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR <br />THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 158 ACRES, MORE OR LESS; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY <br />AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS <br />AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE <br />INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; <br />AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. <br />WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and <br />every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: <br />Tract 1 <br />Situated about 3 miles southerly from the City of Paris, Lamar County, <br />Texas, being a part of the George Bason Survey, Abstract No. 58, being a part of <br />an 87.45 acre tract of land conveyed Blake Lee by Deed dated May l, 1939, <br />recorded in Volume 251, Page 164, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, also <br />being a part of a 73 acre tract of land allotted to Wilma Lee by partition deed dated <br />March 8, 1933, recorded in Volume 234, Page 322, Deed Records, Lamar County, <br />Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a highway right-of-way marker at the intersection of the <br />Northwest Boundary Line of State Highway No. 24 with the West Boundary Line <br />of a public road; also being a point in the East Boundary Line of the tract described <br />in said partition deed; THENCE along the Northwest Boundary Line of said highway on the <br />following calls: along a curve to the right having a radius of 22,833 feet and a <br />certain angle of 01 Deg. 12 Min. a distance of 478.7 feet to a highway right-of-way , <br />marker; South 25 Deg. 07 Min. West a distance of 371.1 feet to a highway right- <br />of-way marker; South 70 Deg. 31 Min. West a distance of 70.7 feet to a highway <br />right-of-way marker; <br />THENCE North 88 Deg. 37 Min. West a distance of 1,545.8 feet along the <br />North Boundary Line of a public road to an iron pin set for corner; <br />THENCE North 00 Deg. 19 Min. West a distance of 106.6 feet along a <br />fence line to an iron pin set for corner; <br />THENCE North 89 Deg. 36 Min. West a distance of 679.3 feet along a <br />fence line to an iron pin set for corner at the most Southern Southwest corner of <br />said Blake Lee tract; <br />THENCE continuing along a fence line on the following calls: North 14 <br />Deg. 53 Min. West a distance of 286.3 feet to an iron pin set; South 80 Deg. 27 <br />Min. West a distance of 100.9 feet to an iron pin set; North 15 Deg. 54 Min. West <br />a distance of 952.8 feet to an iron pin set; North 18 Deg. 19 Min. East a distance <br />
