WHEREAS, the above described property should be pro- per1y zoned as of the date of annexation; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. The following described land and terri- tory lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and said territory hereinafter de- scribed shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and the present boundary limits of said City, at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, to-wit: TRACT 1: Situated in the Enoch Crow Survey, I,amar County, Texas and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the East boundary line of a tract of land conveyed to W. Elmer and Fleta Skidmore by deed recorded in Vol. 396, Page 418, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, said point being 500 feet North of and perpendicular to the North boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82 and being in the present city limits line of the City of Paris; THENCE North with the said East boundary line of said Skidmore tract, 300 feet more or less to the Northeast corner of said tract; THENCE West with the North boundary line of said Skidmore tract and continuing West with the North boundary line of a tract of_ land owned by Donald R. Lewis, et al, 510 feet more or less to the East boundary line of a 16.5 acre tract of , land conveyed W. T. Ford by deed recorded in Vol' 274, Page 499, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; THENCE South with the East boundary line of said Ford tract, 305 feet more or less to the Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Zed Smith, III and Michael B. Smith by deed recorded in Vol 611, Page 12 and Vol. 626, Page 901, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; THENCE West with the North boundary line of said Smith tract and continuing West along the North boundary lines of properties owned by ~ Hilliard and Sons, Inc., John Yerby and a tract owned by Hoyt and Charline Langley and Gerald and Nadine Farmer, 855 feet more or less to the Northwest corner of said Langley-Farmer tract, said point being in the East boundary line of 46th N.E. and being 764 feet North of and perpendicular to the North boundary line of U.S. Highway No 82; THENCE Westerly with 'a line that is 764 feet_ North of and parallel with the North boundary line of U.S. Highway No. 82, 1290 feet more or less to the center of a creek which runs North and South, said point being in the present city limits line; THENCE Southerly with said center. line of creek and the present city limit line, 310 feet more or less to its intersection with a•line that is 500 feet North of_ and parallel with the North boundary line of U.S. Highway No. 82; THENCE Easterly with said line that is 500 feet North of and parallel with the North boundary line of U.
