A e~~ ORDINANCE NO. 84-050 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 149 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PERCENT (10$) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS. WHEREAS, public hearings before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described property: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, being part of the Joseph Leach Survey No. 524, the Joshua Moore Survey No. 571, the Ed Crow Survey No. 208 and the John Guffey Survey No. 363 and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the North boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82 at its intersection with a line that is 600 feet east of and parallel to the centerline of the outside lane of Loop Highway 286 S. E., said point being in the present City Limit line of the City of Paris; THENCE in a Southeasterly direction_with said line that is 600 feet east of and parallel to the outside land of Loop Highway 286 S. E., 2,000 feet more or less to a point in the North line of Lot 6, Block A of Morningside Estates; THENCE East, a distance of 208 feet more or less to the Northeast corner of said Lot 6, Block A of Morningside Estates; THENCE North 00-26' East, a distance of 628.5 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 26, Block A of Morningside Estates; + THENCE North 0° 20' West, a distance of 619.5 feet to the northwest corner of a 19.607 acre tract of land conveyed H. Randall Grounds and A.T. Edzards, of record in Volume 659, Page 892, of the Deed Records of Lamar county, Texas; THENCE South 89° 09' East, a distance of 1,382.15 feet to the northeast corner of said 19.607 acre tract; said point being in the East line of the Joseph Leach Survey; THENCE North 01 30130" East with the east boundary line of said Leach Survey, a distance of 111.1 feet to a point, said point being 500 feet South of the South boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82; THENCE in a Easterly direction with a line that is 500 feet South of and parallel to the South boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82 to a point in the East boundary line of a tract of land conveyed to Joseph E. Billingsley from Roy G. Caviness and wife, Mary CavAness by deed filed in Vol 221, Page 513, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas. THENCE Northerly with the said East boundary line of said Billingsley tract and the Northerly extension thereof to a point in the North boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82: . THENCE Easterly with the North boundary line of U. S. Highway No. 82 to the Southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to Mrs. Dorothy Thompson from W. A. Crenshaw and wife, I.M. by deed dated
