~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-069 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />SEPARATING, DISANNEXING, REMOVING AND EXCLIJDING FROM THE <br />INCORPORATED AREA OF THE CITY OF PARIS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, <br />AN AREA EMBRACING APPROXIMATELY 77.41 ACRES OF PROPERTY <br />OWNED BY PARIS, TEXAS INDUSTRIAL FOUNDATION, INC., DESCRIBED <br />IN TWO TP.ACTS, TRACT ONE OF WHICH CONTAINS APPROXIMATELY <br />76.41 ACRES, AIQD TRACT TWO CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 1 ACRE, <br />SAID PROPERTY BEING I-IEREINAFTF.R DESCRIBED BY METES AND - <br />BOUNDS AND SAID PROPERTY BEING WHOLLY UPdINHABITED BY RESI- <br />DENCES OR COMNIERCIAL STRUCTURES; CHANGING TIiE BOUNDARIrS OF <br />DISTRICT THREE OF THE CITY OF PARIS SO AS TO EXCLUDE THE <br />HEREINAFTFR DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM SAID DISTRICT; INSTRUCT- <br />ING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE A SURVEY FIXING AND <br />ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE <br />HEREWITH ArIU TO CONSTRUCT A COMPLETE MAP OF SUCH TERRITORY <br />HEREIN AND HEREBY EXCLUDED FROM TIiE CORPORATE AREA OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS; AND ESTAI3LISHING THE CITY LIMIT LINE RESULT- <br />ING FROM THIS DISANNEXATION. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: Section 1, That the following described property <br />presently located within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, Texas, which is wholly uninhabited, <br />owned or being acquired by Paris, Texas Industrial Founda- <br />tion, Inc., be, and the same is hereby separated, disan- <br />nexed, removed and excluded from the corporate area of said <br />City, and the boundary limits of the City of Paris are <br />hereby amended, changed and corrected, so as to include said <br />territory and to conf_orra to the same as herein set out in <br />four tracts, to-wit: <br />TRACT ONE: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the <br />City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of <br />Texas, a part of the James Bourland Survey #69, <br />and being a part of a 135.29 acre tract of land <br />conveyed Jack Smith by deed recorded in Vo1. 285, <br />Page 598, of the Deed Records of said County and <br />State and part of a 4.74 acre tract conveyed to <br />the Texas Midland Railroad by W. S. Chambers by <br />deed recorded in Volume B2, Page 160, of the Deed <br />Recor.ds of Lamar County, Texas and also being all <br />of a 2,09 acre tract conveyed to the Texas Midland <br />Railroad by H. L. Obenchain by deed recorded in <br />Book 87, Page 329, of the Deed Records of Lamar <br />County, Texas. <br />BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South <br />boundary line of the Old Brookston Road at the <br />present Northeast corner of,said Smith tract of <br />land; <br />THENCE along the South boundary line of said <br />Old Brookston Road as fallows: South 78° West a <br />ciistance of 100 feet; South 82° West a distance of <br />100 feet; South 89° kTest a distance of 100 feet; <br />West, a distance of 2,083.92 feet; North'87° West <br />a distance of 178 feet to a stake the Northwest <br />corner of said Smith tract of land; <br />THENCE South a d.istance of 966.5 feet to a <br />point in the Plorth boundary line of Loop Highway <br />286; <br />
