ORDINANCE NO. 2293 . AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OT PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 12.247 - ACRES, MORE OR LESS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CENT (1070) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE _ PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARJ.S, TEXAS,' WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described territory: TRACT 1: Situated in the Isaac Cruise Survey in Lainar County, Texas, and being part of a 216.02 acre tract of land conveyed Ernest Randle by deed recorded in Vol. 272, Page 617, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southwest Corner of a 1 acre tract of land conveyed Darrell White by deed recorded in Vol. 446, Page 80, of said Deed Records, and lying in the present City Limit Line; THENCE N 78 ° 30' E with the south line of said White tract and the present City Limit Line, 100.0 feet to a point; THENCE South, 160. 0 feet to a point; TIiENCE West, 197.0 feet to a point in the east line of Gordon Lake Road (private); THENCE North, with the east line of Gordon Lake Road, 119. 86 feet to a point in the present City Limit Line; THENCE N 78 ° 30' E 101. 03 feet to the place of beginning and containing 0.64 acres of land more or less. TRACT 2: Situated partly within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey and being a part of a tract of land now owned by D. Wayne and G. Eugene Brown and being a part of 57 acres of land conveyed J. L. Jopling in Vol. 312, Page 509, of the Deed Records of said County and State, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake in the East Boundary Line of the above mentioned 57 acre tract, said stake being South 987 feet from the Northeast corner of said 57 acre tract; THENCE South along the East Boundary Line of said ~ 57 acre: tract a distance of 633 feet to its Southeast corner in the North Boundary Line of the Old Clarksville Road;
