WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Paris, Texas, and in the above described terxitory, on the 24th day of September, 1971, which date is not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and, WHMEAS, the total corporate area of the City of Paris, Paris,Texas, on the first day of January, 1971, was 11,597.5040 acres; and, WHEREAS, the population of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is in excess of 5,000 and less than 25,000 inhabitants; and, WHEREAS, the above described territory lies within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas; and, WHIIZEAS, the above described territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the City of Paris, Paris, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the above described texritory contains 457.58 acres, more or less, which when added to other property annexed in the year 1971 is less than ten per cent (105vo) of the present acreage contained in the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas; and, WHIIZEAS, the above described terxitory should be pro- perly zoned as of the date of annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, ' ► BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TFXAS : Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be in- cluded within the boundary limits of the City of Paris, Texas, and the present boundary limits of said city, at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the cor- porate limits of the City of Paris, Texas, to-wit: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, - and described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the North Right-of-Way Line of Spur 139 with the North East City ~ Limit Line as established by Ordinance No. 1617, dated February 11, 1963, said line being 600 feet North from and parallel to the center line of the existing traffic :Lane of Loop Highway 286 N. E., which is the outside traffic lane of the proposed four lane divided Loop 286 N. E. THENCE in an Ea,sterly direction along the North Right-of-Way Line of Spur Highway 139 a dis tance of 2300 feet, more or less, to a point where said line intersects the North East Right-of-Way Line of F. M. Highway 195; THENCE in a North Easterly direction with the North East Right-of-Way Line of F. M. Highway 195 a distance of 3700 feet, more ox less, to a point that is N 59° W , from the North West Corner of the Buck Rader property;
