SENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND AD. JOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS-OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, Wf-IEREAS) a public hearing before the City Council of the City ' of Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described property: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the 1Zedding Russell Survey, and being described as follows: Beginning at a point vh ere the South East Corner of property belonging to the John Kraft Sesame Corporation intersects the North Boundary Line of West Center Street, in the City of Paris, Texas; Thence Nor-th with the E.B. Line of the Sesame property , to its North :East Corner; Thence West with the N.B. Line of said Sesame property to the E.B. Line of property belonging to the St. Louise San Francisco Railway Company; Thence North with the E.B. Line of said Railway Right of Way to where the same intersects the North Boundary ,Line of Highway Loop 286; Thence West wi-Lh the North Boundary Line of Highway Loop 286 to the West Boundary Line of the S-t. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company Right of Way; Thence South with the same to the North East Corner of a tract belonging to Champion Packages Company; Thence West with the N.B. Line of the Champion Paclcages Company to its North West Corner; Thence South to the North Boundary Line of West Center ~ Street; ' Thence East with the N.B. Line of West Center Street to , the place of beginning. was held at Paris, Texas, on the 8th day of May, A. D., 1967, which date is no1: more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the institution of annexation pxoceedings; and, WHEREA.S, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Paris, Texas, and in the above described territory, on the 21st day of April, A. D,, 1967, which date is not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and, WHEREAS, the population of 1;he City of Paris, Texas, is in excess of 5,000 and less than 25,000 inhabitants; and, VJHEREAS, the above described territory lies within the extra» -territorial jurisdiction of the City of Paris, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the above described territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the Ci-Ly of Paris, Texas; and,
