<br />AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING, AI3MITTING AND INCORPORATING ADIZI-
<br />TIONAL TERRITORY IN LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, LYING ADJACENT TO
<br />THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, INTO AND AS A PART OF SAID CITY OF
<br />PARIS, EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS SO
<br />AS TO INCLUDE AND EMBR.ACE SAID ADJACENT TERRITORY4, CON-
<br />FERRING ALL RIGHTS, PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES OF CITIZENSHLP
<br />UPON THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TERRITORY, EXTENDING THE BOUN-
<br />DA.RY OF WARD THREE SO AS TO EMBRA.CE AND INCLUDE ALL OF SAID
<br />TERRITORY AND INCORPORATING THE SAME IN S1siID WARD THR.EE,
<br />PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES, RULES, R.EGULATIONS, AND LAWS
<br />IN EFFECT IN THE CITY OF PARIS AND THAT MAY HEREAFTER BE
<br />PASSED IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT IN SAII? TERRITORY AFTER
<br />PASSAGE OF THIS ORDINANCE, INSTRUCTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
<br />MAKE A SURVEY FIxING AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS
<br />OF SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE HE REWITH AND TO CQNSTRUCT A COM-
<br />PLETE MAP OF SUCH TERRITORY SHOWING STREETS, ALLEYS, LOTS,
<br />`TRACTS, ANI? PRQPERTY OWNERS, AND TO FILE SAME WITH THE CITY
<br />CLERK AND TO CORRECT THE MAP OF THE CITY OF PARIS SO AS TO
<br />AI?D SUCH TERRITORY THER,ETO; AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY ASSESSOR
<br />ANI? COLLECTOR OF TAXES TO LT,ST ALL PROPERTY THEREIN ANI?
<br />PLACE SAME ON THE TAX ROLLS OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND TQ
<br />HEREAFTER ASSESS SAME FOR TAXES IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW.
<br />BE IT ORDAINEI? BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P.ARZS:
<br />Section 1. That the following described territory in Lamar County,
<br />Texas~ lying adjacent to the present boundary limits of the City of Paris,
<br />be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Paris and admitted into
<br />the corporation of said City, and is hereby made and constituted a part
<br />and portion of the City of Paris, and the Boundary Limits of the City of
<br />Paris are hereby extended so as to include and embrace said territory and
<br />to conform to same as herein set out, to-wit:
<br />Situated in the County of Lamaar and State of Texas, and described
<br />as follows:
<br />Beginning at the present City Limit Line at a point 200 feet
<br />East and 200 feet North of the intersection of 27th S rt~,veet, N. W.
<br />and Campbell Street, at an ell corner of the North Bpundary Line
<br />in the City Limits of the City of Paris;
<br />Thence East and 200 feet North of and parallel with Campbell
<br />Street to a point in a West Boundary Line of the present City
<br />Limits, which point is located 200 feet West and 200 feet North
<br />of the intersection of Campbell Street and 19th Street, N. W. ;
<br />Thence South with the W. B. Line of the present City Limits
<br />of the City of Paris to an ell corner in the Northern City Limit
<br />Line, at a point 200 feet North and West of the intersection of
<br />~ Graham Street and 19th Street, N. W. ;
<br />Thence West and parallel with Graham Street at a distance of
<br />200 feet therefrom to an ell corner which is located at a point
<br />approxima,tely 200 feet North and 200 feet East of the intersection
<br />of 27th Street, N. W. and GAaam Street;
<br />Thence North with the Boundary Line of the present City
<br />Limits to the place of beginning.
<br />The inhabita.nts within said annexed territory are and shall hereafter
<br />be entitled to enjoy all the rights, privileges and immunities of citizens
<br />of the City of Paris, and all laws, ordinances, rules, resolui:ions, acts,
<br />and regulations of said City now in force in said City of Paris, and that
<br />may be hereafter passed, shall be and are in full force and effect in said
<br />territory hereby annexed and admitted; said area to be admitted under a
<br />Residential zoning classification.
