A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the terms of office of LUCIUS JOE, JR. and HARRELL TIPPITT as members and PIKE BURKHART and GREG WILSON as alternate members of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2004; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of LUCIUS JOE, JR., and HARRELL TIPPITT and the appointment of WARD HALL and GREG WILSON as members and the reappointment of PIKE BURKHART as alternate member and the appointment of RYAN LASSISTER as alternate member for terms of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2004, and ending June 30, 2006; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That LUCIUS JOE, JR. and HARRELL TIPPITT be, and they are hereby, reappointed, and that WARD HALL and GREG WILSON be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2004, and ending June 30, 2006. Section 3. That PIKE BURKHART be, and he is hereby reappointed to serve as an alternate member, and that RYAN LASSISTER be and is hereby appointed to serve as an alternate member of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2004, and ending June 30, 2006. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of July, 2004. Curtis Fendley, Mayor
