STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LAMAR KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: PETITION FOR ANNEXATION TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: This petition is presented to the Mayor and Members of the City Council pursuant to the terms and provisions of Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code, entitled "Authority of Municipalities to Annex Partially Occupied Area on Petition of Area Land Owners," as well as the requirements of Section 6 of the Charter of the City of Paris. The undersigned owners of the hereinafter described tract or tracts of land which are vacant and without residents, or on which less than three qualified voters reside, hereby petition the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Paris, as the governip.9 body of the City of Paris, to extend the present city limits so as to include as part of the city of Paris the property described by metes and bounds on Exhibit A, attached hereto. We certify that the property described on Exhibit A, attached hereto, is contiguous and adjacent to the current city limits of the city of Paris, is not more than one-half mile in width, and that this petition is signed and duly acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an interest in said land. We further certify that this petition is filed by all of the qualified voters residing or owning property in the area requested to be annexed and that the below signatories own all of the area being requested to be annexed.
