MINUTES <br />Paris Municipal Band Commission <br />A meeting of the members of the Paris Municipal Band Commission was held on <br />Thursday, May 13, 2004, at 12 noon, in the Conference Room of the Lamar <br />County Chamber of Commerce. <br />PRESENT <br />Albert Nichol <br />Randy Bunch <br />ABSENT <br />Jim Brunette <br />Linda Suarez <br />Edwin Pickle <br />Also present was: <br />Tom Neugent, Director, Paris Municipal Band <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Randy Bunch at 12:15 p.m. <br />As the first order of business, the minutes from the previous meeting held on <br />January 26, 2004, were unanimously approved as submitted on a motion by <br />Albert Nichol, seconded by Edwin Pickle. <br />A policy document for future reference regarding the operations of the Paris <br />Municipal Band was reviewed and unanimously approved on a motion by Edwin <br />Pickle, seconded by Albert Nichol. The policy document is attached and made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />On a motion by Albert Nichol, seconded by Edwin Pickle, the 2005 Budget for the <br />Paris Municipal Band was unanimously approved and is attached and made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />Under other discussion, the newspaper ads and the posters designed by Albert <br />Nichol were reviewed and approved for publication. Also, Edwin Pickle agreed to <br />check with the PHS Athletic Director regarding the availability of the football field <br />for the fireworks show. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1 p.m. <br />
