Regular City Council Meeting <br />July 8, 2004 <br />Page 6 <br />that time it needed to be cleaned up, it wasn't his lot. <br />Interim City Manager Townsend presented an ordinance amending Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 1710, changing the zoning from a One-Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2(SF-2) to a Multiple-Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1) on <br />Lot 1, City Block 208, being number 2303 West Kaufman, on property belong <br />to Raney Day Enterprises, Inc. <br />City Attorney Schenk said this would take a three-quarters vote to approve and <br />he had provided the Council with an opinion on spot zoning, so that if they felt <br />they needed to approve this, those things would have to be addressed. <br />Councilman Wilson made a motion that the Ordinance not be approved, which <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Wilkerson. The motion to not approve carried <br />4 ayes, to 3 nays, Councilman Bell, Councilwoman Fisher and Councilman <br />Poston voting no. <br />Mayor Fendley called for consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lots <br />1 and 2, Block A, of the Lone Tree Corner, being located at 245 and 255 7tn <br />S.W. Mayor Fendley said there was a recommendation from the City Engineer <br />to approve subject to his recommendations. Councilman Bell made a motion <br />to approve subject to the Engineer's recommendations. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Fisher and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fendley called for consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat <br />of the Residences on Stillhouse Road. He indicated that the Planning and <br />Zoning had recommended approval subject to the City Engineer's <br />recommendations. Councilwoman Fisher made a motion to approval subject <br />to the City Engineer's recommendation. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Guest and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Bell asked if this property is in the City limits at this time. City <br />Attorney Schenk advised that it has not been annexed into the city at this time. <br />
