Section 3. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, directed to file with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, a certified copy of this Ordinance accompanied by a copy of the Petition for Annexation. Section 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. That this ordinance shall become effective on October 1, 2004.
