Main Street Advisory <br />July 28, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br />New Main Street Board members were announced and <br />welcomed: Jennifer Long, Bill Kirby and Deanna Robi <br />Lindsey Harper reported on the possible funding for the <br />pocket park stating that the City Council encouraged the <br />pursuit of funding. Currently work is being done with th <br />Meadows Foundation. <br />Lindsey Harper then updated the Board on the planning f r <br />the Festival of Pumpkins. Quintana Honda has donated <br />$10,000 to the festival. The next planning meeting will be eld <br />on August 2. <br />Discussion was held with regard to the flowers, trees and <br />planter boxes with the result of the discussion sending the <br />matter to the sub-committee comprised of Barbara Wilso and <br />Suzy Harper. <br />Discussion regarding benches for downtown resulted in th <br />selection of 8 backless and 4 with back benches in black a d six <br />feet in length. <br />Work on the PJC parking lot will begin once the applic <br />for Certificate of Appropriateness is approved. <br />Paris Main Street Advisory Board Minutes <br />July 28, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br />
