<br />RESOLUTION NO.
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING
<br />CHANGE ORDER NO.2 TO CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
<br />DOWNTOWN STREETS CAPE PROJECT, FEDERAL PROJECT STP 2000
<br />(615) TE, CSJ-0901-29-017, CONCURRENT WITH THE APPROVAL OF
<br />THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION; MAKING OTHER
<br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
<br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 8th day of
<br />December, 2003, in Resolution No. 2300-187, award the contract for the "Downtown Streetscape
<br />Project, Federal Project STP 2000 (615) TE," to Encino Landscape, Inc.; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Hayter Engineering, Inc., acting as project engineer, recommends the
<br />amendment of the contract for said project to provide for the extension of sidewalks and associated
<br />improvements on N.E., S.E., and S.W. corners, and providing for a net increase of$146,813.30
<br />in the contract price; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Change Order No.2 Summary, attachedhereto as Exhibit A, should in
<br />all things be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute a Change Otder form
<br />concurrent with the approval of the Texas Department of Transportation; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:

<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the Change Order No.2 Summary to the Contract for the "Downtown
<br />Streetscape Project, Federal Project STP 2000 (615) TE,", attached hereto as Exhibit A, to
<br />provide for the extension of sidewalks and associated improvements on N.E., S.E., and S.W.
<br />corners, and providing for a net increase of $146,813.30 in the contract price, be, and the same
<br />is hereby, approved.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on
<br />behalf of the City of Paris, a Change Order No.2, upon the terms and conditions and in
<br />conformance with the Summary shown in Exhibit A attached hereto, concurrent with the approval
<br />of the Texas Department of Transportation.

<br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
