Shawn Napier stated he met with KSA, trying to correct problem areas in Phase II, one <br />area that needs reworked is the access area next to the terminal building on the north side. <br />At the end of Phase I they will concrete that area after the trucks are done coming in and <br />out. The area is in front of the Triple A hangar to the west they are proposing milling that <br />up and stabilizing the soil with lime and replacing the asphalt. Mr. Napier asked if you <br />have any other issues that could be added to the project please get with him. Billy <br />Copeland asked on the west side heading north is it possible to get a taxi-way in there? <br />Shawn Napier stated may not be able to do in conjunction with this project because that <br />would be a brand new taxiway. Mr. Napier further stated he will need to check with KSA <br />to see if we could add the taxi-way. Phillip Payne asked are they doing drainage work in <br />the area. Mr. Napier stated they are doing work and will be concreting the suspect area <br />and this should solve any drainage problems. Mr. Napier further stated they have gone <br />over possible locations for future hangers. Mr. Jack Ashmore voiced concerns over not <br />being able to get out while construction is going on. Mr. Napier stated they will pave an <br />apron area and that will give you a way out. Steve Gilbert asked when the project will go <br />out for bid. Mr. Napier stated Stephanie Cliver with TXDOT aviation is trying to get this <br />bumped up to October, he will try to get a check cut to help move the project forward. <br />6. Discussion of and possible aetion on nonzifiating a sub-committee to plan an Open House <br />at the Aifport. <br />Advisory board nominated the following individuals to serve as a sub-committee: Ray <br />Ball, Jerry Coyle and Steve Gilbert. Motion carried 7-0. <br />7. Future agenda itenas. Security gate. Report from sub-committee. <br />8.
