TE?:AS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT NATIONAL RECREATIONAL TRAILS FUND AGREEMENT This agrezment between Texas Pai°ks aiid Wildlife Depai-tment, Recreatioiial Ti-ails Progranl (hereinafter TPWD) and City of Paris (hei-einafter Spousor) foi• constr•uction of recreational n•ail improveil7ents in Laiilar Countv, Texas is made under Texas Recreational Trails Fund. BACKGROtJND The TPWD Recreational Trails Pi•ogram, which adnzinisters the Texas Reereational Trails Fimd (hereinafter TRTF) made available under the National Recreational Trails Act (hereinafter The Act), awards reimbursemerlt-t_ype grants to eligible public entities and private organizations to be used on trails aiid trail- related pirojeets. To be eligible, the project must have been planned aiid developeci lindei• existing federal aiid state laws, aiid all related policies aiid adininisn-ative procedures; aiid Tlie City of Paris, eligible tmder The Act, made a grant applicatioii for a suitable trail project aiid was awarded a TRTF grant. THEREFORE, for aiid in consideration of the muhial covenants aiid benefits hereof, TPWD aiid the Sponsoi• hereby agree as follows: TERMS SPonsor will construct 0.8 linear miles of reereational trail, ctilverts, aiid signing aiid project engineering and design to extend the Trail de Paris in accordance with approved plari (hereinafter the Project) b,y Jt~ 15, 2015. While doing any work urlder the terms of this ap•eeinent, Sponsor will adhere to all requirements established for the National Recreational Trials Fund including those set out in Proeedural Guidelines, Project Development and Grant Reimbursement Procedures, and Acquisition Project Procedures aiid by the signatiire of its authoriaed agent below asserts that it had read all of the for-egoing requirements. The undersigned is subject to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 or Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americaiis with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and offers all pei•sons the opportunity to participate in pi°ograms or activities regardless of race, color, tiational origiii, age, sea or disability. Furthei•, it is agi-eed tliat no individual will be turned away oi° othenvise denied access to or beliefit from arry program or activity that is directly associated with a pi-ogra►n on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, ses or disability.
