CITY COUNCIL AGENDA <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session <br />at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011. The meeting will be held at the City Council <br />Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted <br />upon are as follows: <br />Opening Agenda <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />2. Invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />4. Citizens' forum. <br />(Persons desiring to address the Council must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. Unless <br />an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Council from responding to <br />any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person <br />with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or employees, as well as <br />individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.) <br />Consent Agenda <br />Items on the Consent Agenda are approved by a single action of the Council, with such approval applicable <br />to all items appearing on the Consent Agenda. A Council Member may request any item to be removed <br />from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. <br />5. Deliberate and act on the approval of minutes from the meetings on November 14, 2011; <br />November 28, 2011; and December 5, 2011. <br />6. Receive and deliberate on reports and/or minutes from the following boards, <br />commissions, and committees: <br />a. Main Street Advisory Board (9-20-2011 and 10-25-2011) <br />b. Airport Advisory Board (10-20-2011) <br />c. Paris Public Library Advisory Board (10-19-2011) <br />d. Planning and Zoning Commission (11-7-2011) <br />7. Deliberate on October monthly financial report. <br />8. Deliberate on drainage ditch maintenance report. <br />Regular Agenda <br />9. Update on the City of Paris Beautification Project. <br />10. Public hearing, first reading, deliberate and possibly act on an Ordinance Amending <br />Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Texas to consider the petition of We <br />Reit, LLC to rezone Lots 1-3, City Block 162, Lot 2, Block 1; Lot 1, Block 2; Lots 4-8, <br />Block 6; Lots 1-10, Block 7; Lots 1-11, Block 8; Lots 7-12, Block 9; Lots 1-12, Block <br />10; Lots 1-12, Block 11; Lots 1-12, Block 12; Lots 1-12, Block 13, Texas & Pacific <br />Addition, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, located between South Church Street, 6`h Street <br />S.E., Paris Boulevard and Union Pacific Railroad, from a Heavy Industrial District (HI) <br />
