DRAFT F:ALICEIRESWORKICURRENTI Changing Sched of City Council Mtgs November 5, 2004 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING DATES AND TIMES FOR THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELA TED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 29 of the City Charter authorizes the City Council to meet regularly at such times as may be prescribed by its rules, but not less frequently than once each month; and, WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted Resolution No, 84-007, adopted February 13, 1984, whereby the City Council designated the current schedule of regular Council meetings, the same being for two meetings a month, the first to be on the Thursday before the second Monday of each month and the second to be on the second Monday of each month; and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to revise its schedule of regular City Council meeting dates and times; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved, Section 2. That from and after the date of passage of this resolution, the dates and times for regularly scheduled meetings of the City council of the City of Paris, Texas, shall be as follows: L The - day of each month, beginning at - o'clock p,ffi,; 2, The - day of each month, beginning at - o'clock p,ffi, Section 3. That Resolution No, 84-007, adopted February 13, 1984, and any and all other resolutions in conflict herewith, are hereby in all things repealed to the extent of such conflict Section 4.
