DRAFT H:JANICE\ORDWORK\HILLS PHASE 4-5.187 ACRES ORDINANCE NO. _______________ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 5.187 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AS REQUESTED BY PETITION OF THE OWNERS THEREOF; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: Being all that certain tract of land situated in Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Wesley Askins Survey, Abstract No. 7, a part of the 100.00 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed recorded in Volume 939, Page 31 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and a part of the 121.76 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed recorded in Volume 949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and being further described as follows: ? Beginning at a point, said point being North 6408’23” West a distance of 298.63 feet from an iron pin found for corner at the most Northeasterly corner of Lot 17, Block B, of The Hills Phase III as recorded in Envelope No. 371-C of the Lamar County Plat Records; Thence around a curve to the right having a radius of 452.47 feet, long chord ? bears South 4400’10” West a distance of 111.70 feet, an arc distance of 111.99 feet to a point for corner; ? Thence South 5105’37” West a distance of 1267.07 feet to a point for corner; ? Thence North 4412’46” West a distance of 134.46 feet to a point for corner; Thence around a curve to the right having a radius of 691.20 feet, long chord ? bears North 4318’13” West a distance of 36.22 feet, an arc distance of 36.22 feet to a point for corner; ?
