City Council of the City of Paris <br /> September 9, 2004 <br /> Page 11 <br />ANNUITIES FOR RETIREES AND BENEFICIARIES OF DECEASED <br />RETIREES OF THE CITY, WAS PRESENTED. <br />Councilwoman Fisher made a motion for approval of the ordinance, which was <br />seconded by Councilman Bell. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004-037 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A NEW SECTION 20-4 TO CHAPTER 20, <br />LIBRARY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO <br />ASSESS A FORTY DOLLAR ($40.00) ANNUAL FEE PER FAMILY FOR <br />THOSE LIBRARY PATRONS RESIDING OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE <br />LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, WAS PRESENTED. <br />Councilman Bell made a motion to approve the ordinance, which was seconded <br />by Councilman Poston. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004-038 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE III, THE <br />SUBSTANDARD BUILDING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TO <br />ADD A NEW PARAGRAPH (c)(11) TO SECTION 7-47 OF SAID <br />ORDINANCE, ENTITLED DEFINITIONS, TO CLARIFY THE DEFINITION <br />OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES TO INCLUDE ADDITIONS, <br />ATTACHMENTS, EXTENSIONS, OR APPENDAGES TO THE SAME, WAS <br />PRESENTED. <br />City Attorney Schenk explained that the Building and Standards Commission <br />requested clarification on this. Councilman Bell made a motion to approved the <br />resolution. Councilman Poston seconded the motion and it carried 7 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />
