<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION <br />Monday, November 15, 2004 <br />4:00 P.M. <br /> <br />1. Chad Brown called the Building and Standards Commission Meeting to <br />order at 4:00P.M. <br /> <br />Roll was called. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Chad Brown Mary Crumpler <br />Lucius Joe, Jr. Harrell Tippitt <br /> <br />Ryan Lassiter Brad Archer <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Tommy Robinson Mark Rothfuss <br />Ward Hall Pike Burkhart <br />Greg Wilson <br /> <br />2. Approval of Minutes of previous meeting: <br />A motion was made by Lucius Joe, Jr. to approve the meeting minutes, <br />and Mary Crumpler seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously <br /> <br />3. Public hearing to consider presentations by Code Inspector of the City of <br />Paris, and owner(s) and / or lien holders of the below listed properties which <br />have been given notice of a violation of City Ordinance that structures need <br />to be demolished because of fire damage: <br /> <br />A. 1123 S. Main Street, Lot 4, City Block 158-A <br />Mr. Mike Adkins spoke to the Commission regarding this property. He <br />stated that his intention was to demolish the structure. He requested 90 <br />days to get this accomplished. <br /> <br />Brad Archer made a motion that the building be demolished within 90 <br />days with a $1000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 90 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Lucius Joe, Jr. seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />B. 324 E.
