The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:00 P.M. <br />A.The following members were present: <br />Barbara Wilson <br />Paul Denney (left at 12:55) <br />Claudia Hunt (arrived at 12:15) <br />Alternate:Becki Norment (left at 12:45) <br />Brian Wear <br />B.The following members were absent: <br />Ann Rodgers, Secretary <br />Jerry Raper <br />Sue Lancaster <br />C.Also present was Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer. <br />2. <br />Consideration of and action on temporarily suspending the requirements of <br />Article VII, Section 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Paris Historic <br /> Motion to suspend the rule was <br />Preservation Commission of the City of Paris. <br />made by Barbara Wilson, seconded by Becki Norment. Motion carried 5-0. <br />3. <br />Discussion of and possible action on approving the following Certificates of <br />Appropriateness: <br />A. - <br />Linda and Bill Payne - 435 S. Church Street and 105 E. Sherman Street <br />Bill Payne stated that he would be demolishing the rear structure to do <br />underground utility work. Motion to approve the demolition was made <br />by Barbara Wilson, seconded by Becki Norment. Motion carried 5-0. <br />4.
