<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />F:ALICEIRESWORK\CURRENT\ Auction Resolution 1-05 <br />January 6, 2005 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, DECLARING VARIOUS USED CITY-OWNED VEHICLES <br />SURPLUS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO <br />THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the several departments of the City of Paris have furnished a list of used <br />vehicles, attached hereto as Exhibit A, which no longer serve a useful purpose for the City of Paris <br />and its operation, and it would be appropriate that said vehicles be declared surplus property; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the used vehicles described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be, and the same <br />are hereby, declared to be surplus property of the City of Paris, and the same may be disposed in <br />accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
