<br />REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PARIS <br />January 24, 2005 <br />1. The City Council of the City of Paris met in regular session at 6:00 P. M., <br />Monday, January 24, 2005 at the Love Civic Center, 2025 South Collegiate <br />Drive, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor: Curtis Fendley <br /> Council Members: Jim Bell, Mary Ann Fisher, Jay Guest. <br /> Karen Wilkerson, Rick Poston <br /> <br /> City Staff: City Manager Tony N. Williams, City <br /> Attorney Larry W. Schenk, Asst. City Clerk <br /> Sherian Dixon, Finance Director Gene Anderson <br />Absent: Councilman: Don Wilson <br />2. Mayor Fendley called for consideration of and action on the following <br />ordinance: <br />A. ORDINANCE NO. 2005-005: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE I <br />TO CHAPTER 17, HEALTH, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, TO ADD A NEW SECTION 17-6 THERETO <br />ESTABLISHING A PERMIT FEE FOR INSPECTING SEPTIC SYSTEMS <br />AND SIMILAR SANITATION SYSTEMS PERFORMED BY THE <br />LAMAR COUNTY SANITARIAN; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />City Manager Williams said that would be changing the fee from $75.00 to <br />$250.00, which would bring our fee more up to date and comparable with <br />other entities. <br />Councilman Bell - Motion to approve. Councilman Guest - second. Motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />
