WALTERS APPLIED TECHNOLOGY BUILDING, ROOM 1206 <br />WEST ENTRANCE <br />2400 CLARKSVILLE STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2004 <br />12:00 0'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:00 P.M. <br />A.The following members were present: <br />Paul Denney, Acting Secretary <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Alternates:Brian Wear <br />Becki Norment <br />B.The following members were absent: <br />Ann Rodgers <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Jerry Raper <br />Barbara Wilson <br />C.Also present were Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, Bill <br />Payne, and Linda Ridder. <br />2. <br />Consideration of and action on temporarily suspending the requirements of <br />Article VII, Section 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Paris Historic <br />These are the notification and <br />Preservation Commission of the City of Paris. <br />timing rules. Motion was made to temporarily suspend the requirements of <br />the Rules of Procedure by Paul Denney, seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />3. <br />Discussion of and possible action on approving the following Applications <br />for Hardship and Certificates of Appropriateness: <br />Motion was made to <br />A.Linda and Bill Payne - 105 E. Sherman Street. <br />approve the hardship application by Brian Wear, seconded by Paul <br />Denney. <br /> <br />
