Program goals and objectives; and any other information that supports your application for this year's funding): Additional Narrative (If Necessary): G.R.E.A.T. Budget Narrative A. Personnel - Officers Milton and Boaz devote approximate thirty percent (30%) of their time to G.R.E.A.T. program activities, including classroom time and preparation therefor. In order to avoid exceeding seventy percent (70%) of the grant award, the personnel expense for each officer was divided by eighty-seven and one-quarter percent (87.25%); and the City will pick up the cost of the balance of those salaries. B. Fringe Benefits - Fringe benefits for the two officers was calculated by using the amounts of the salaries to be funded under the grant. No overtime figures were used in determining this amount. C. Travel - Travel includes the cost of attendance at the G.R.E.A.T. Officer Training program in Orlando, Florida, in August of this year. Airfare for each officer was estimated to be approximately $300.00, hotel and per diem for each officer is based on the figures established by the United States General Services Administration, and cab fare and transportation to and from the airport was estimated at approximately $50.00 each.
