<br />RESOLUTION NO.
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
<br />APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. ONE TO CONTRACT FOR THE
<br />REHABILITATION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY HALL
<br />AND CENTRAL FIRE STATION BUILDING; MAKING OTHER
<br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
<br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 22nd day of
<br />September, 2004, in Resolution No, 2004-167, award the contract for the rehabilitation and
<br />reconstruction of the City Hall and Central Fire Station Building project to Charlie Clark
<br />Construction; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Denny Architects, acting as project architect, recommends the
<br />amendment of the contract for said project to make changes as described in Exhibit A attached
<br />hereto, and providing for a net increase of $3,336,00 in the contract price, for a total contract
<br />price of $739,736,00; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No, One, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should,
<br />in all things, be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW,
<br />THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved,
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the form of Change Order No, One to the Contract for the
<br />rehabilitation and reconstruction of the City Hall and Central Fire Station Building project,
<br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, for the changes described on Exhibit A attached hereto and made
<br />a part hereof, and providing for a net increase of $3,336,00 in the contract price, for a total
<br />contract price of$739,736,00, be, and the same is hereby, approved,
<br />
<br />Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute,
<br />on behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Order No. One, upon the terms and conditions and
<br />in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto,

<br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage,
