School-Based Prevention Programs - trained staff facilitate drug and alcohol prev. <br /> programs in Paris and North Lamar ISD's. Juvenile Probation Program - Youth who are involved <br /> in the --justice system receive a 10-week outcome-based program, "Project Toward No Drug Abuse", <br /> <br /> and individual counseling by trained ETCADA staff. <br /> <br /> <br /> Describe how your project will benefit the City of Paris and its citizens: ETCADA's programs meet critical <br /> community needs by linking addicted youth and adults to drug/alcohol treatment and ensuring <br /> that community youth are exposed to prevention strategies that are proven to reduce the onset <br /> <br /> of the use of drugs and alcohol. <br /> List other sources of funding for this project and the amounts: ETCADA programs are funded through _ <br /> grants from the Texas Department of State Health Services which requires a 5% local match of <br /> <br /> funds.
