17. Contract Securitv <br />The Contract Documents set forth OWNER'S requirements as to performance and <br />payment Bonds. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to <br />OWNER, it must be accompanied by the required performance and payment Bonds. <br />18. Si ning of A ment <br />When OWNER gives a Notice of Award to the Successful Bidder, it will be accompanied <br />by the required number of unsigned counterparts of the Agreement with a11 other written <br />Contract Documents attached. Within fifteen (15) days thereafter, CONTRACTOR shall <br />sign and deliver tlie required nwnber of counterparts of the Agreement and attached <br />documents to OWNER with the requirea Bonds. Within thirty (30) days thereafter, <br />OWNER sha11 deliver one (1) fully signed counterpart to CONTRACTOR. <br />19. Prebid Conference <br />No prebid conference will be held. <br />20. Power of Attornev - Bonds <br />Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, or Payment Bonds, must file <br />with each bond, a certified and effective dated copy of their power-of-attomey. <br />21. Retaina¢e <br />From each partial payment made to the CONTRACTOR, an amount equal to ten (10) <br />percent will be retained until after the completion of the Work to the Satisfaction of the <br />ENGINEER. <br />22. Venue <br />If any legal action is filed upon the bid, performance or payment bonds, or upon the <br />Contract itself, venue shall lie in the County in which the project site is located. <br />8 <br />
