Regular City Council Meeting April 11, 2005 Page 6 Motion to deny by Councilman Poston. Councilman Wilson - second. Councilwoman Fisher and Councilman Biard voted against the motion to deny. Motion carried - 4 ayes, 2 nays. 7.Public Hearing to consider changes to the City of Paris Drought Contingency Plan; establishing criteria for the initiation and termination of drought response stages; establishing restrictions on certain water uses; establishing penalties for the violation of and provisions for enforcement of these restrictions; and establishing procedure for granting variances. Mayor Fendley opened the public hearing and asked for anyone speaking in favor of this item to do so. Jon Clack spoke in support of this item. He explained that they were required to review and revise the plan every five years. He stated the only revision was to the format. Mayor Fendley asked for anyone speaking against this item to do so. With no one else speaking, Mayor Fendley closed the public hearing. 8.Consideration of and action on the following ordinances: A.ORDINANCE NO. 2005-013.
