Consideration of and action on recommending approval of the following requests for tax exemptions: A.The HPO advised that the COA for 130 Bonham Street - Daniel Atnip. the work listed in the application had already been approved. Motion to recommend the exemption to the City Manager was made by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Becki Norment. Motion carried 5-0, with Paul Denney abstaining. 4. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled “Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures,” to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris: A.. The HPO advised that this Corner of 7th Street N.W. and Henderson property is the apartment complex located next door to the Casa Bonita Apartments. Motion to forward this structure the Building and Standards Commission was made by Claudia Hunt, seconded by Paul Denney. Motion carried 6-0. 5. The HPO handed out Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. the attached report. Vice-Chairman Wilson asked if there was a deadline for exemptions, and HPO advised that the application had to be submitted prior to the commencement of work. Sue Lancaster reported that not all applicants were posting their COAs as required. 6. The HPO advised that the Request items from Board for future agendas. revised Pocket Park proposal was not on the agenda because Arvin Starrett had requested to be present when it was acted upon, so it would be placed on the next agenda.
