<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF MAIN STREET ADVISORY <br />BOARD <br /> <br />Wednesday, May 18, 2005 <br />Aiken Building –Downtown Paris <br />23 East Plaza <br />3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A meeting of the members of the Paris Main Street Advisory Board was held Wed., May 18, 2005 at 3 p.m., at the <br />Aiken Building. Zach Saffle, Chairman, was absent. Beth Golden, MS Coordinator presided. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Barbara Wilson, Jennifer Long, Suzy Harper, Pike Burkhart (Alt.), David House, Drew Crawford <br />(Alt.) <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> Bailey Gant (Alt.), Renee Harvey (Alt.), Zach Saffle, Linda Suarez <br /> <br />Also present were: <br /> Bethany Golden MS Coordinator & Lisa Wright Community Development. <br /> <br />Beth Golden called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />April 20, 2005 minutes were reviewed by board members and unanimously approved as submitted on a motion by <br />D. House, seconded by B. Wilson. <br /> <br />Review Status of 2004-2005 Goals/Appoint Chairs for Promotions and Economic Development Committees <br />MS Coordinator passed out copies of all goals listed under committees with chairs listed. Zach Saffle will head the <br />organization committee, Suzy Harper will head the design committee. Beth Golden volunteered for the promotions <br />committee. Economic development subcommittee remains open. It is important to implement the 4-point approach <br />through set goals. <br /> <br />Report from Main Street Coordinator <br />The advisory board suggested we add public restrooms to our goals outline for 2005. MS Coordinator reported that <br />the walkability seminar is set for August 16. The advisory board also discussed holding the plaza luncheons in <br />March, April, May and September. These are weather friendly months. A new member for the board should be <br />recommended by the next scheduled meeting. <br /> <br />Request for items for future agendas <br />None stated. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Chairman Signature <br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
