Historic Preservation <br />Project/Inquiry Status Report <br />DateName/SubjectAddressInquiry/ActionStatus <br />Bethany is looking for photos of downtown <br />streets in other cities to see how it looks for <br />a variety of canopies to go along one street. <br />Once that is completed, she and I will <br />approach Nancy Anderson about façade <br />2/28/05HPCVariousDamaged awningsgrants for her sagging canopies. <br />I've made attempts to contact the owner to <br />determine what he's asking for the property. <br />His wife advised that he wants $400.00 per <br />month in rent, but she wasn't sure what he <br />wanted to sell it for. I'll continue <br />I, Bethany, and Robert met with Richard <br />Hunt to go over what elements of the <br />building had to be repaired. Richard has <br />said he will make contact with the owner to <br />see if he is willing to ask for a façade grant <br />to make additional changes to the building, <br />such as painting and constructing boxes <br />inside the windows to display artwork, etc. <br />Richard advised that the owner is hard to <br />3/29/05Anonymous123 S. CLOSED. <br />I've received a COA for the Capri <br />Apartments, which were recently bought <br />by Barney Bray, for repairing trim and <br />shutters and for landscaping. I will be <br />Brad Hutchison, forreceiving another COA soon for painting <br />5/5/05Barney Bray825 S. MainCOA for minor repairsand replacement of exterior lighting. <br />First Federal Bank has foreclosed on <br />these apartments, and they contacted <br />Bethany inquiring about the procedure <br />Washington Squarethey needed to follow to paint and make <br />5/9/05ApartmentsForeclosureother exterior changes. <br />
