Removal of 'Full Borrower input required' patrons. <br />. Mapping of Galaxy Patron codes to POLARIS patron type codes; includes defaulting as necessary. <br />. Mapping of Galaxy Patron home libraries to POLARIS Organizations. Includes defaulting as <br />necessary . <br />. Mapping of Galaxy language codes into POLARIS language codes. Includes the insertion of English <br />as a default where no language code or 'Other' exists. <br />. Corrections to cities, states, and zip codes for patron home and alternate addresses, including the <br />insertion of defaults as appropriate. Corrections will be based upon reports generated for library <br />by GIS with instructions returned by library to GIS. The responsibility to check the accuracy of the <br />data belongs to the library. <br />. Mapping of blocks and stops in the following order of priority: system stops (permanent stops and <br />Registration required), user-defined stops, and free-text stops. <br />. Mapping of whole data elements into 5 available user-defined fields. Mapping is to be based on the <br />entire field, rather than on parts of the element. (e.g., if a user defined field is Galaxy Demographic <br />data, then all Demographic data are to be mapped, not just those containing a particular value, <br />such as Friend of the library.) <br />. Preservation of links between patrons, bearing a description indicating that the links existed in <br />Galaxy . <br />. Preservation of Individual Access Module PINs as patron passwords, where the PIN is not <br />uninitialized ("0000"). <br />. Insertion of the patron last name into the patron password field where the PIN does not exist, or is <br />unini tialized. <br /> <br />Circulation Transactions eserves Records: <br />. Preservation of patron registration, entry, update, last activity dates. <br />. Preservation of patron usage for the last two years, as defined by library use of year-end processes. <br />. Preservation of item creation, modification, and inventory dates. <br />. Preservation of item circulation counts for lifetime and for year-to-date, as defined by library use of <br />year-end processes. <br />. Mapping of Galaxy item status to POLARIS item status. <br />. Preservation of patron information, due dates, and renewal counts for items with a status of out. <br />. Preservation of claims counts (but not claims reasons). <br />. Preservation of patron account details (i.e., financial transaction history.) <br />.
