approved. <br />Section 2. <br /> That Section 4 of Resolution No. 2005-076, which ordered a City-wide Special <br />Election to be held in the City of Paris on the second Saturday in September, 2005, the same being <br />th <br />the 10 day of September, 2005, to consider a proposition calling for the adoption of an ordinance <br />prohibiting the City of Paris from privatizing the collection, handling, and disposition of residential <br />garbage, trash, and rubbish, and providing for the method of fixing charges for such service, shall be <br />and is hereby amended to designate an alternative polling place for the voters of District One (1) due <br />to the unavailability of the established polling place, the same being Building B, Red River Valley <br />Fairgrounds, with the aforesaid alternative polling place to be designated as a polling place for the <br />purpose of this Special Election only, and likewise located on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, said <br />amendment to Section 4 to read as follows: <br />Section 4. <br />“ That the polling places and election officials of such election shall <br />be as follows: <br />District One (1): <br />Polling place:Red River Valley Fairgrounds, Westside Building <br />570 E. Center Street <br />Officials:Edith Bills , Presiding Judge <br />Frankie Dangerfield, Alternate Presiding Judge <br />* * *” <br />Section 3. <br /> That all other terms and provisions of Resolution No. 2005-076, including the <br />designation of all other polling places as set out in Section 4 of said resolution, shall remain in full <br />force and effect. <br />Section 4. <br /> That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED <br /> this 11th day of July, 2005. <br />____________________________________ <br />ATTEST: <br />Curtis Fendley, Mayor <br />____________________________________ <br />Janice Ellis, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />____________________________________ <br />Larry W.
