CITY COUNCIL AGENDA <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session <br />at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012. The meeting will be held at the City Council <br />Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted <br />upon are as follows: <br />Opening Agenda <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />2. Invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />4. Citizens' forum. <br />(Persons desiring to address the Council must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. Unless <br />an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Council from responding to <br />any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person <br />with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or employees, as well as <br />individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.) <br />Consent Agenda <br />Items on the Consent Agenda are approved by a single action of the Council, with such approval applicable <br />to all items appearing on the Consent Agenda. A Council Member may request any item to be removed <br />from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. <br />5. Deliberate and act on the approval of minutes from the meeting on March 12, 2012. <br />6. Receive and deliberate on reports and/or minutes from the following boards, <br />commissions, and committees: <br />a. Historic Preservation Commission (2-27-2012) <br />b. Paris Economic Development Corporation (2-14-2012; 2-27-2012) <br />7. Deliberate and act on a Resolution approving a proclamation declaring the month of <br />April as Fair Housing Month. <br />8. Deliberate on February monthly financial report. <br />9. Deliberate on February drainage ditch maintenance report. <br />10. Deliberate on dilapidated structure report. <br />11. Deliberate on possible future amendments to the City of Paris Charter. <br />Regular Agenda <br />12. Public hearing, first reading, deliberate and possibly act on an Ordinance amending the <br />zoning on parts of Lot 13, City Block 305, located at 1415 N.W. 19t' Street, from a One- <br />Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) to a Commercial District (C). <br />13. Deliberate on application for disannexation filed by Terri Palmer; and provide direction <br />to City Staff. <br />14. Deliberate and act on Resolutions accepting bids and awarding contracts for the purchase <br />of roadway materials required by the Public Works Department of the City of Paris <br />
