<br />SPECIAL WORK SESSION MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PARIS <br />J DIy 25, 2005 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a special work session at 6:00 P. M. <br />Monday, July 25,2005, at the Love Civic Center, 2025 South Collegiate Drive, Paris, <br />Texas. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor: <br /> <br />Curtis Fendley <br /> <br />Council Members: Richard Manning, Mayor Pro Tern, Karen <br />Wilkerson, Rick Poston and Don Wilson <br /> <br />City Staff: <br /> <br />City Manager Tony N. Williams, City <br />Attorney Larry W. Schenk, City Clerk <br />Janice Ellis <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Council Members: Tim Ray and Mary Ann Fisher <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Budget Workshop - receive presentation from City Manager regarding projected <br />revenues and capital projects for Fiscal Year 2005-2006. <br /> <br />Jon Clack gave an overview of the repair project needed to be done to the flow <br />equalization basin diversion vault. The estimated cost for the project is $75,000.00. <br /> <br />Shawn Napier gave an overview of the repair and repainting project needed for the <br />one million gallon elevated water storage tank on 25th N .E. Street. Shawn said it would cost <br />about $475,000.00 for repainting and repairs. <br /> <br />Shawn also gave an overview of the Pine Mill and Loop 286 Relocation Project and <br />informed Council it would cost approximately $280,000.00 for 4,800 feet of I8-inch and 8- <br />inch sewer line, manholes, street and driveway repairs. <br /> <br />Tony Williams gave an overview of the Water and Sewer Revenues. In addition, he <br />gave an overview of the General Fund Revenues, with and without non-privatized sanitation. <br />Tony further informed Council that August 8th he would be providing them with two budget <br />proposals, one that was based on privatized sanitation and one that was based on non- <br />privatized sanitation. <br /> <br />I <br />
