Committee Reports <br />Organization: Casev Ressler <br />Website for Main Street, needs another bid, then will make a decision. Committee began discussion of <br />volunteer recognition program. <br />Design-(Cheri Gave report in Karie Raulston absence) <br />Meetings held on February 6th @ 4 p.m. All meeting are now scheduled for first Monday at 6:30 p.m. in <br />City Hall Annex. <br />*Side note- get committee members contact information to Cheri <br />Discussed historic standards, future goals, covered previous goals: Restrooms, store fronts, bike racks, <br />Bywaters, and trash off (April 21) Downtown clean-up day prior to Art and Wine Fest. <br />Promotions- Kari Dainel <br />Working on April in Paris <br />Next Meeting to discuss dedication of the Peristyle & pick movies for MiP <br />Economic Restructuring- Britin Bostick <br />Report on buildings & Standards. Cracking down on substandard buildings, which is good for downtown. <br />HPC- Britin Bostick <br />HPC declined to act on properties that were designated as substandard by Code Enforcement. <br />VCC- Beckv Semple <br />2 day trips coming to downtown <br />Moving forward with lighting on Eiffel tower (catering events) <br />Long list of events for the spring/summer season <br />Thanks to Chamber for use of the trolley for Valentine's Day <br />Chamber is considering how to use trolley to get people from hotels to downtown. <br />Presentation from Special Guest: Greg Wilson <br />PDA fundraising has not previously had large focus <br />Slush fund for building improvements <br />Current fa~ade grand does not incentivize reinvestment <br />Friend is head of production for Windancer Films (Judd) <br />Willing to screen new movie <br />Grew up in Paris <br />Premier as opportunity to raise funds <br />World Premier May 5`h at 7:00 p.m. PCT-(190 seats) "Bernie" Matthew McConaghey, Jack Black, and <br />Shirley McClain <br />Judd will be here to discuss film immediately after <br />Reception at chamber w/ memorabilia auction <br />15 <br />
